2007: In his junior year, McFarland continued to shine in the Saints' secondary, making 28.5 tackles and one interception. The Binghamton, NY native earned Liberty League Honorable Mention for his play in 2007, and was named a captain for the 2008 season. McFarland is also active away from the gridiron, as the McNair Scholar is a member of the Black Student Union, Male Athletes Against Sexual Violence (MAASV) and CSTEP.
2006: McFarland played in every game for the Saints in his sophmore season, starting all but one contest. The Binghamton, NY native was solid at the corner position, making 20 unassisted tackles to go along with six assisted stops. McFarland also chipped in eight pass break-ups.
2005: McFarland was a back-up at corner in his rookie season. He saw action against Union and registered one tackle.

McFarland competed in football, basketball, and track & field. He was a member of the National Honor Society.
