At Mount Desert Island High School

Leiser exhibited outstanding leadership qualities that landed him the role of captain for the Football, Wrestling and Track teams in both his junior and senior seasons. The Bar Harbor, ME native was named Second Team All-Conference at both center and linebacker his senior year, and earned Football All-Academic status. Leiser was also a member of the National Honor Society.
