2006: Izzo had a solid campaign at the back-up tailback position. He was the Saints second leading rusher with 55 carries for 234 yards and a touchdown in eight games for the Saints. Izzo had solid performances against Rochester and WPI, collecting 61 yards and a touchdown against the Yellowjackets and 75 yards on 15 carries against WPI.

At Stillwater High School
Izzo played basketball and football. As a senior, he was captain of the varsity football team and was named the team’s most valuable player and a Class C Section II First-Team All-Star. He set the Stillwater High School record for career yards and most yards rushed in a single game. As a junior, Izzo was named to the Class C Section II Second-Team and was a member of Saratogian Dream Team. Also as a junior, he was the Section II leading rusher. He also received the Presidential Scholar Award.
