2006: Cruz played in a back-up role at offensive line for the Saints.

At Sebring High School

A three-sport athlete at Sebring, Cruz participated in football, weight lifting and wrestling. As a co-captain of the varsity football team, Cruz received All-Star league honors. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.
