DESCRIPTION:
Japanese Fencing. It is Japan's senior and elite martial art, practiced literally by hundreds of thousands of men and women, at University and High School levels, as well as company dojos. It is by far Japan's most popular martial art [budo ].
Iaido,(the way of Iai)- one of the most formal Japanese Budo, is a non-combative martial art which instructs in drawing and cutting with the Japanese sword.

BELLY DANCING

Belly Dancing is an acient art form that can be enjoyed by women and girls of all ages and all body types. This course explores various Mid-Eastern rhythms, movements, and techniques, along with expressive veilwork. Basic dance combinations will be utilized to help promote overall fitness. Later in the session, costumes, accessories and jewelry will be demonstrated and discussed. This class provides excellent toning for the body. "Juanita" has been teaching and performing throughout New York state for over 30 years.

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING FOR PERSONAL SAFETY & TOTAL FITNESS

This program teaches students a wide-range of practical skills in becoming more aware of risky situations and in gaining greater self-confidence should self-defense techniques be required. Lessons offer a traditional approach to the martial arts as taught by American Kang Duk Won Karate. Workouts enable students to develop an understanding of the Inner Energy of KI, which is essential in remaining focused throughout all daily challenges. Class exercises will highly invigorate the body and mind.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa is a yoga practice that links postures and breath, which regulates the flow of prana (the life force). In each class, students will complete sun salutations and various standing and seated postures.Each class will end with some inversions and svasana (deep relaxation).This is an energetic practice in which modifications are offered for all levels of experience. Vinyasa yoga will help to increase strength, flexibility, focus and energy. Invite wellness into your life. Purify your body with Vinyasa Yoga this spring.

For all levels of fitness. This total body strength class will work the major muscle groups in both upper and lower body to both strengthen and tone your body. Participants will set their own level by choosing weights appropriate for them. Class will focus on core strength moves, abdominals and glutes.

Come join us for an intense, indoor cycling class put to a mix of contemporary music and blasts from the past. Instruction will focus on the Energy Zones in relation to your heart rate and cadence (pedal rotations). First timers are welcome. The class is designed for all abilities...you work at your own pace. Time will be spent learning the proper bike settings and positions while on the bike. Strengthen your body, burn some calories and enjoy the journey. Be sure to have proper footwear (sneakers or cycling shoes) and bring water and a towel too. Come join us....you won't regret it!
