North Country Field is one of several outdoor field facilities used
by Saint teams for both games and practices. Other field facilities
include Sandy MacAllaster Field for soccer, the Saint Softball Field
and T. Fay Field, currently under construction, which will give
the baseball team a new home this coming spring.

An Astroturf Field, North Country Field is home
for the Saint field hockey team in the fall and men's and women's
lacrosse teams in the spring. It has lights and can be used for
practice by any field teams, and the lacrosse teams can get outside
in February when the weather cooperates for early outdoor practices.
Its press box is on the side of Appleton Arena, which also houses
locker rooms and training areas.

Named in memory of former Saint soccer goaltender
and baseball player Sandy MacAllaster, Sandy MacAllaster Field opened
in the fall of 2001 as the new home for the Saint men's and women's
soccer teams. A rolled turf field sunk among berms to reduce the
effects of wind, the field has a press box on one side and bleachers
on the other.

Named in honor of Saint baseball coach Tom Fay construction
began this fall on a new baseball field which will be ready for
the spring season. T. Fay Field will be an "old time"
baseball field with an asymetrical outfield. Dugouts, batting cages,
bullpens and a press box will all be part of the new field.
The picture will be updated as construction progresses.

Opened in the spring of 2000 Saint Softball Field is
the home of the Saint softball team and features a symetrical outfield
distances of 225 feet from the plate to the outfield fences. The field
also has dugouts, bullpens and batting cages and will have a new press
box next spring. |
