St. Lawrence University: Field Hockey

LLOYD SCORES TWO AS SAINTS DOWN HARTWICK, 3-1

Oct. 18: Junior Erin Lloyd scored two goals and goaltender Sarah Rohrs made eight saves as the Saint field hockey team came from behind to beat Hartwick 3-1 with three second half goals on Saturday.
Kelly Cooman scored her 14th goal of the season 19:10 into the game for the Hawks, now 8-6 overall, but it was the only shot to get past Rohrs.

Lloyd pulled the Saints event 5:52 into the second half when she scored her eighth of the year from Jenny Heffler and Nicola Reid scored her second of the season and the eventual game winner from Tiffany Elsenbeck at the 52:27 mark. Lloyd scored her ninth of the season with Heffler again assisting at the 62:06 mark to complete the scoring.

The Saints outshot Hartwick 21-14 and had an 11-9 edge in penalty corners. Two Hartwick goalies combined for nine saves in the game.
The Saints will play at Vassar and RPI in a UCAA set Friday and Saturday.
