The extensive outdoor facilities for Saint athletics
include North Country Field, an Astroturf playing
surface with lights which is used for intercollegiate
field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse and for
intramural competition.
Other outdoor fields include a new softball field
for the women's intercollegiate team, baseball and
soccer fields and several practice fields. Construction
will begin soon on a new soccer stadium and a new
baseball field is also in the planning stages.
North Country Field provides the Saint lacrosse
teams a chance to get outdoors early when the temperature
permits and is the site of many lacrosse games in
the spring when other schools cannot get onto natural
grass fields.
Additional outdoor facilities for Saint athletes
include the Sammis Tennis Court complex and the
Saint golf team plays at the St. Lawrence University
Golf Course, one of the nicest 18-hole courses in
Northern New York.
The Sammis Tennis Courts give the Saints six outdoor
courts with lights and stadium seating in the center.
