The track complex features four coverable pits for the long and triple jumps

Merrick-Pinkard Track One of the newest and best collegiate track and field complexes in the Northeast, St. Lawrence University's Merrick-Pinkard track has already hosted one of the largest small college meets in New York State and will do it for a second straight year when the New York State Collegiate Track Conference has its championship in Canton in early May. The Merrick-Pinkard track is a nine-lane 400 meter all-weather facility with all new timing and scoring systems. The complex includes high jump and pole vault areas, javelin runways, four pits for the long and triple jumps, and shot put and discus circles. A hammer cage and circle is located nearby.
