Tom Fay Field was dedicated in the fall of 2002, named in honor of current Saint head coach Tom Fay who has been at the helm of the St. Lawrence baseball program for 30 years. Tom Fay Field features an asymmetric outfield measuring 331' down the leftfield line, 376' to the leftcenter power-alley, 401' to center, 372' to the rightcenter power-alley and 321' down the rightfield line. The field also features triple-barrel bullpens on both the first-base and third-base lines. In addition, two batting tunnels are located behind the Saints dugout. The infield and outfield both have state-of-the-art drainage systems that will minimize rain-outs. The entire field was leveled with the infield and outfield built from the substrata up with nothing but baseball in mind. Two sets of 500-seat bleachers sit five-feet above field level behind home plate, giving spectators views of the entire field. The Saints played their first full season on the field in 2003.
The Saints can also take fielding practice inside with a full-size artificial turf diamond located in Leithead Field House. Leithead also houses two batting tunnels, several portable mounds and two permanent dirt mounds for practice during inclement weather or in the off-season. The fitness center in Newell Field House, new in 2001, provides a wide array of state-of-the-art equipment, including a strength and conditioning room for both in-season and off-season workouts.
