2007: Zach Slater made four apperances for the Saints as a rookie and had a 1.65 ERA in 11 innings of work. Opposing teams hit just .194 against him.

A candidate for a regular role on the mound for the Saints, Zach was captain and first team all league as a senior in baseball and earned a Regents diploma. He was a member of the National Honor Society and also ran track.
