2007: Joe played in 11 games for the Saints as a junior and had two hits in ten at bats.
2006: Joe played in 11 games for the Saints in the outfield and finished the year iwth three hits in 21 at bats with six runs scored, a double and one run driven in. He was perfect in three chances in the outfield.
2005: Joe saw duty in the outfield for the Saints as a rookie, playing in 15 games with a .296 batting average. He scored three runs and drove in six and had two doubles.
At Pearl River
Shehata captained football, baseball and indoor track. In all three sports he was a two-time all-league, a two-time all-section in football and baseball, a two-time all-county in football and an all-county in baseball and indoor track. He was MVP and most outstanding defensive back for football. He also earned the leadership award.
