Ryan will contend for action behind the plate or as a designated hitter in his rookie season.
At Warwick Veterans High School
Ryan, who was a member of the Saint football team in the fall, was a first team All Division catcher and also earned All City and All Daily Times honors. He was also a shot put chmpion in indoor track and was a two-time All Division linebacker in football.
