2007: Andersen competed in eight races during his rookie year, finishing in 27th position overall in the Slalom at the UNH Carnival and 44th in the same event at the EISA Championships at Middlebury.

At Stratton Mountain School
Andersen was a dual-sport athlete, competing in both alpine ski racing and golf. The Putnam Valley, NY native was a Varsity Letter recipient in seventh grade, won the Giant Slalom in the Junior Olympics, and competed in the Junior Nationals. Andersen intends to study Engineering while attending St. Lawrence.
