KREIZEL, MORGAN LEAD SAINTS AT WILLIAMS CARNIVAL

Feb. 19: Junior Hannah Kreizel and sophomore Eric Morgan led the Saints in the Slalom at the Williams Carnival Saturday afternoon. The Saint women finished in sixth place while the men took eighth.

Kreizel raced to a combine time of 1:42.32 to finish in 22 nd place. Right behind her was sophomore Erin McDermott in 25 th place. Her total time was 1:43.66. Next in was junior Abi Copeland in 27 th place with a time of 1:44.47.

Other finishers for the women were sophomore Sarah Lauridsen in 34 th place in a time of 1:47.89. Freshman Kristen Ehringer took 35 th with a time of 1:48.93.

On the men’s side, Morgan raced to a time of 1:56.57 to come in 24 th place. Right behind was junior A.J. Puccia in 25 th place with a time of 1:57.27. Freshman Jared Furnia placed 31 st with a time of 1:59.92.

Other Saints finishers were freshman Billy Montague and Brendan Levine. Montague took 41 st place with a time of 2:20.50. Levine placed 45 th with a total time of 2:25.36.

The Saints wrap up the season at the Middlebury Carnival next weekend, prior to the NCAA Championships hosted by Vermont.

KREIZEL LEADS SAINTS IN GIANT SLALOM

Feb. 18: Junior Hannah Kreizel led the Saints Alpine Ski Team with a 26 th place finish in the Giant Slalom at the Williams Carnival Friday afternoon. The women took seventh place with 42 points, while the men finished eighth with 33 points.

Kreizel combined for 2:07.95 in the G.S., followed closely by sophomore Sarah Lauridsen in 27 th with a time of 2:08.37. Next up was junior Abi Copeland in 30 th place with a total time of 2:11.12. Sophomore Erin McDermott was close behind, in 31 st, with a total time of 2:11.24.

Other Saints finishers were freshman Kristen Ehringer in 38 th with a time of 2:13.29. Freshman Meaghan Cahill took 42 nd with a combined time of 2:14.83.

On the men’s side, the Saints were led by Brendan Levine in 35 th place. He combined for a time of 2:01.10. Next in was junior A.J. Puccia in 36 th place with a time of 2:02.65. Freshman Billy Montague followed closely at 38 th with a time of 2:02.85. Freshman Gabe Cohen took 45 th with a total time of 2:10.09.
