Since graduating SLU in May 2012, I have accepted a position in Denver, CO at the Institute for Health Technology Transformation (iHT2) as a Project Coordinator. In this role I research and work directly with leaders both in healthcare and health IT. iHT2 is the leading organization committed to bringing together private and public sector leaders fostering the growth and effective use of technology across the healthcare industry. Through collaborative efforts the Institute provides programs that drive innovation, educate, and provide a critical understanding of how technology applications, solutions and devices can improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare.
My time spent at SLU as a Sociology major helped me to discover a profound interest in healthcare, and ways in which it is involving. My coursework helped to build a foundation of knowledge that has provided me with the ability to best preform my job.
