Jason Frank’s job requires attention to detail and time management, qualities he learned at St. Lawrence. Frank, a member of the Class of 2004, is an assistant vice president and sales manager with HSBC Bank USA in New York City.
A double major in
psychology and
economics, Frank earned his MBA at Clarkson University, just 11 miles from St. Lawrence in Potsdam, N.Y., by enrolling in the
4+1 MBA Program, which allows a student to earn a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence and the MBA at Clarkson in five years, at least one year faster than it normally takes. At St. Lawrence he played club hockey, and was on the varsity
baseball and
men’s cross country and
outdoor track teams.
Frank is today the head of HSBC’s sales team at the company’s second largest branch in Manhattan.
“Not only did the curriculum at St. Lawrence provide me with the tools I would need on the job, but St. Lawrence was also able to provide me with a great day-to-day structure that made it easy to adjust to the work world,” he says.
