Community-Wide Accounts - Students

A Community-Wide Account (CWA) is a declining balance account that can be used for purchases at the Brewer Bookstore, Stafford Fitness Center (classes), Outdoor Program (trips), Dana Dining Hall, Northstar Cafe, Timeout Cafe, Student Mail Room (postage), Student Financial Services (miscellaneous charges only), participating off campus vendors, student groups (apparel, registration fees, sale of tickets for campus events, and donations to charities/class gifts) and vending machine (limited to a maximum of $20 per day). The minimum deposit into a CWA account is $25 and maximum is $2,000. Cash withdrawals from the CWA account are not allowed.

A CWA is automatically opened for all students upon enrollment and, once funds are deposited, they can be used to make purchases without cash at various locations. Students signed up for the 21-meal plan automatically receive a starting balance of $50 on their CWA in the fall semester.

Deposits may be made as follows:
* On-line by credit or debit card.
(Note that you will need to put two zeros in front of the ID number; i.e. 00607xxxx, for a total of nine digits.)

* By check with a completed deposit slip.

* By cash/check at the Student Financial Services Office.

The terms and conditions of a CWA are listed on the deposit slip.
