Over the summer we have made a number of changes to our reference area, to help integrate the use of Student Research Assistants into our public service. We will have students versed in both networked information technology and research practices working with our librarians to provides assistance to the SLU Community.

With just one click, Encore, the SLU Libraries’ new keyword searching tool, displays results in an easy-to-use faceted format with additional suggestions for finding similar relevant items, tag clouds, recently added materials on your topic and books available through ConnectNY.
The SLU Libraries subscribe to the Lexis-Nexis Congressional Serial Set, 1789-1969. The Serial Set is the historical component to the Lexis-Nexis Congressional database.
The Adirondack Collection consists of ephemera, promotional literature, maps, magazines, commercial photo albums, picture books, Seneca Ray Stoddard photographs, and two groups of unidentified photographs.
