She'll never forget this experience...
Karoline Chrzanowski ’06, of Watertown, NY, spent her summer
working with Assistant Professor of
Psychology
Dr. Sharon Hannigan, to create an experiment to compare the effectiveness
of different kinds of memory retrieval cues. “A
lot of research has been done with memory retrieval using strictly
visual cues, but very little research has been conducted with other
sensory cues, and I think that it’s something worth researching.”
Her experiment was a pilot study for her senior honors
project; she presented her work during the Family
Weekend Honors Reception.
Although this research is only
in the beginning stages, Karoline is excited about the progress and
hopes to eventually have the research published.
