ANNOUNCEMENTS
Piskor Lecture Set:
The annual Piskor Lecture will be presented by Judith DeGroat, history, on Monday, April 15, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. in Herring Cole. Her topic is "Headscarves and Khaki: Gender Perceptions of Franco-Maghrebians and National Identity in Contemporary France."

Taylor Award: The John P. "Jack" Taylor Distinguished Career Service Award is given periodically to recognize distinguished service to the University by an administrator who has worked at St. Lawrence for a minimum of 12 years and who sustains the high standards of performance exemplified by Jack Taylor's long and distinguished service as director of dining services. Nominations should be sent to President Sullivan by May 1, 2002.

Intramural Softball Sign-ups: The deadline for entering teams in the spring intramural softball tournament is 6 p.m., Monday, April 1. ISEP Meeting: An International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) information meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3 at 4:30 p.m. in Carnegie 112. The application deadline for participating in a spring 2003 program is May 20, 2002.

Swimming Lessons: A six-day set of swimming lessons for children ages 3 and of, at all levels of ability, will be offered beginning April 8. Cost is $40 for six half-hour lessons; registration takes place on the first day of each session. For more information: Bob Clemmer, rclemmer@stlawu.edu or 5884.

Wellness Luncheons: Free luncheons this semester provide an opportunity to discuss how to eat healthier, exercise healthier, learn to deal with stress and have healthy relationships. Meditation Options: Fifteen-minute meditation sessions are scheduled for Tuesday evenings, 9-9:15 p.m., and Thursday mornings, 7:45-8 a.m., in Gunnison Chapel (chapel garden, weather permitting).
