St. Lawrence University invites applications for the position of Temporary/Part-Time Career Advisor & Recruiting Assistant. A self-directed but team-oriented individual with high energy, professionalism, and a sense of humor with the ability to quickly develop rapport with students and employers, communicate effectively, and build relationships is critical to the position. Responsibilities focus on individual career advising for students and working with potential employers of St. Lawrence students. Qualifications: A master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Student Development, or related field and career services experience, preferably in a liberal arts residential setting, are required. Experience in individual career advising focusing on career assessment, resume design and construction, and interview preparation will be strongly considered as will experience in employer relations. This is a 4-month, 20 hour/week position, beginning August 13, 2012. Hourly wage is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
