St. Lawrence University has openings for temporary work in the dining units and concessions. Work hours are part-time, under 20 per week, and include day, evening, and weekend shifts throughout the academic semester. The work includes routine tasks in the kitchen and dining areas including cleaning, stocking, dish washing, and staffing at a variety of food stations. Also requires assisting in the preparation of food items according to documented recipes and positive customer service skills.
Ability to read, write and follow directions required. Prior experience is helpful, but not required. Ability to operate cash register, standard cooking and dish washing equipment and other mechanical devices as well as ability to work with chemicals for cleaning required.
