Department of Sociology
Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor
The Department of Sociology at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a 1-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor to begin August 2013. Areas of primary teaching and research interests are open. Contribution to the Department’s introductory level courses is expected. Elective courses are determined in consultation with the Department Chair. The teaching load is 3 courses in each of the 2 semesters of this appointment. Candidates with a Ph.D. in hand preferred, ABD considered. St. Lawrence University and the Department of Sociology provide supportive environments for the development of teaching and research.
