Visiting Assistant Professor

A visiting position at the Assistant Professor level is available beginning in the fall semester of 2013 at St. Lawrence University.  We seek an individual with expertise in one of the following specialty areas: Cross-Cultural Psychology, Health Psychology, or Aging.  The successful candidate will teach 3 courses per semester, including sections of Introductory Psychology along with courses in his or her specialty area.  The Psychology department has 11 full-time faculty members, one academic support person, and approximately 160 junior/senior majors.

Applicants should have their Ph.D. by September 1, 2013, though ABD candidates may be considered.  A letter of application, vita, original teaching evaluations (if available), representative preprints/reprints, and three letters of reference should be sent to:  Visiting Search Chair, Department of Psychology, St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY 13617-1475.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is December 14, 2012.  Applications received after this deadline may be reviewed, but only in the event that the position has not already been filled.
