Assistant Professor, Tenure Track

The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position in experimental economics at the assistant professor level beginning in fall 2013.

The Department of Economics consists of 10 members covering a broad array of fields.  As a department, we are committed to excellence in both teaching and research.  The economics department houses a small experimental economics lab and hopes to find an individual committed to outstanding undergraduate instruction and interested in pursuing research in experimental economics, including mentoring student research, in a liberal arts setting.  Candidates with an additional interest in strategic decision making or game theory, or interested in teaching in our inter-disciplinary First-Year Program, are particularly encouraged to apply.  Candidates with Ph.D. in hand preferred, but ABD candidates may be considered.

Interested candidates must submit (via hard copy only) a cover letter, curriculum vita, evidence of teaching effectiveness, sample of research and 3 letters of recommendation to Search Committee Chair, Department of Economics, St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York 13617.  Please no emails or faxes.  Priority consideration will be given to applications received on or before December 15, 2012.
