Annual Giving & Laurentian Engagement
Assistant Director of Annual Giving - Reunion Giving

Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Assistant Director will be responsible for coordinating the reunion fundraising component of the St. Lawrence Fund.  This includes the identification, recruitment, and management of reunion fundraising volunteer committees for thirteen honored classes (excluding the 25th and 50th reunions).  The Assistant Director also will work with members of the Annual Giving & Laurentian Engagement staff, University Advancement staff, and Reunion Volunteer Development Chairs to coordinate and make solicitations for leadership gifts within these milestone classes.  S/he also works closely with the Director of Annual Giving to develop cultivation plans and solicitation strategies for leadership and general annual fund prospects.   The Assistant Director travels to visit with 125 alumni prospects and volunteers each year.  Balancing travel needs and responsibilities with on-campus responsibilities is essential.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • Two years’ experience in fundraising, sales or marketing preferred.  Comparable undergraduate experience in higher education with a focus on development, alumni relations, admissions or student life will be considered.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with donors with the highest degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
