Such themes include the International House, Intercultural Floor, Scholars' floor, Substance Free Living, Photo Floor, and various block housing. The basement of Sykes houses a darkroom, and the International and Intercultural Houses share an expansive lounge, kitchen, and computer lab. Each floor offers unique living arrangements with singles, doubles, triples and quads. Dana Dinning hall is adjacent to Sykes allowing residents to attend meals in their slippers. Additionally, Sykes features the elegant Sykes Commons Lounge, floor study/TV lounges, and outdoor courtyards. Sykes was refurbished in the summer of 2002.
