The Saints also won the NCAA Regional championship in 1997 and 2000. He is also high jump coach and middle and long distance coach for the track team and St. Lawrence director of intramurals and recreation. Away from campus, he has competed at the highest level of marathon canoe racing and remains active in the running community.

“I believe that athletics plays an integral role in a small liberal arts college setting. Athletics provide a valuable dimension in which personal, mental, social and physical growth can be enriched through individual and team goal-setting, success and even lack of success. My role is to motivate and educate each of my athletes as they strive

to achieve their personal and team goals. I also strive to be a sound role model for my athletes, whether in academics, athletics, family life or citizenship. St. Lawrence runners receive an exceptional liberal arts education in a beautiful campus setting with first-class facilities, and have the opportunity to compete against some of the best competition in Division III, and sometimes Division I.”
