Chris Phelps has completed four seasons as head coach at St. Lawrence. An outstanding quarterback at St. Lawrence before he graduated in 1991, he was the varsity receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of New Hampshire prior to coming to St. Lawrence. He was also previously head football coach at Siena College. A native of Laconia, NH, Phelps was a four-year starter at St. Lawrence and still holds the career total offense record with 4,944 yards.
