I first became interested in psychology while taking an introductory psychology course at St. Lawrence. The topics we covered and the concepts that were discussed seemed extremely intriguing, and it led me to pursue a major in psychology. Throughout my four years I took many psychology classes and enjoyed all of them thoroughly. I was a member of Psi Chi, and was also selected as a Faculty Scholar in my senior year.
While at SLU I also played for the Men’s Ice Hockey team. Playing a Division I sport while balancing school work was surely a demanding task, but I think that it teaches you a great deal about time management and prioritizing what you need to get done.
