RE:                 Decision about the Snow Bowl Sale

We know that many members of the St. Lawrence community have an interest in where we are with respect to sale of the Snow Bowl.  I said a few weeks ago that when we have more to report I would provide an update.  Here is where we are:

The Board of Trustees on Friday voted to accept a purchase offer from Green October, LLC, among whose owners is Kirk Kellogg ’91, a member of the Board. We have received assurances that Green October will conserve and preserve a substantial majority of the property in its natural state, thereby limiting development of the property.  We anticipate that the sale will be completed by the end of 2006.
