New member of Phi Beta Kappa receives cord from Professor Nadia Marano

Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa is the national honor society for liberal arts and sciences undergraduates. The St. Lawrence chapter of the society, sponsored by Harvard University, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1999. Over three elections each year, (August, March and May), the faculty and staff who comprise the permanent chapter membership elect the top 10% of the members of the senior class.
