Beth Dixon

A 2010 graduate of St. Lawrence, Beth (she/her) started her role as the Executive Director of NYC Internships and Laurentian Engagement Associate in May 2021 after six years working with the Laurentian community in the Office of Annual Giving. Based in New York City, Beth enjoys acting as a connector for students, alumni, parents, faculty, and staff through internship placements, events, and meetings. She develops and maintains relationships with internship sites, advises students on the New York City Semester about internship placements at leading organizations, and recruits alumni/parent volunteers to assist with our internship and mentoring programs. Beth brings over ten years of experience in higher education, having worked in Admissions and University Advancement.

Outside of her role, Beth is involved with various diversity, equity, and inclusion committees and programs at St. Lawrence. In addition to her BA in Performance and Communication Arts, she also earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership at St. Lawrence in 2018. While an undergraduate student at SLU, she was a member of the Laurentian Singers (serving as President her senior year), an Admissions Ambassador and Intern, and studied abroad in London. In her free time, Beth enjoys podcasting about various television shows, playing music with her family band, and exploring all that New York City has to offer.
