Parents Fund	Help to raise leadership gifts by soliciting approximately ten families in the Fall and five to seven in the Spring
Senior Parent Initiative	Solicit ten families of senior in the Fall and five to seven families in the Spring
Parents of Alumni Fund	Help to raise leadership gifts by soliciting approximately ten families of alumni in the Fall and five to seven in the Spring
Major Gifts	Make a major gift to St. Lawrence of at least $25,000 or more payable over five years or less, and encourage other parents to do the same
Career Planning	Arrange internships Facilitate recruiting Serve as a career advisor Provide a one- or two-day job shadow experience Host a student during his/her January or Summer internship
Communications	Suggest and/or write articles for the ParentScope newsletter Suggest changes to the SLU Parents web site Participate in the Calling All Parents program
Special Events	Suggest programming for Family Weekend and Parents Committee Winter Weekend Host, help with, and/or attend regional parents receptions during the school year
Recruiting	Encourage membership in the Parents Committee through personal phone calls and letters
Admissions	Refer promising high school seniors to SLU Add your e-mail to our web site and give first-hand reports about SLU to parents of potential applicants and to "admits" Host sendoff functions for new matriculants and their families Write a letter to your local newspaper about what makes SLU special Recommend high schools in your area that SLU should be working with
