Whitewater Canoeing
Canoes aren't just for lakes! With some instruction and a lot of practice, both tandem and solo open canoes can be paddled down any whitewater section that kayaks can. Our intructional clinics cover the necessary paddle strokes and basic strategies for maneuvering a canoe through whitewater, and focus on eddy turns, ferry technique, and "river reading" skills needed to descend rapids safely.
