Location

The St. Lawrence University campus is ideally situated for students to enjoy outdoor sports and recreation. The campus is bordered on two sides by rivers, the Little River and Grasse River, that allow students to enjoy miles of flat water canoeing, class I-II whitewater paddling, and fishing out their door step. In addition, the south side of campus contains a 500 acre parcel of woods that boasts over four miles of recreational hiking, running, mountain biking, and cross country skiing trails. St. Lawrence University is located thirty minutes from the Adirondack Park and two hours from the High Peaks region. The region offers excellent opportunities for white water and flat water paddling, climbing, skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
