Liya Yussubaliyeva

Liya Yussubaliyeva from Astana, Kazakhstan, is a senior majoring in Performance and Communication Arts. She is the concert organizer for the Java Barn and over the summer she conducted research on how to make sustainable clothing accessible and affordable to the general public as part of the St. Lawrence University Fellowship Program. Her internship background also includes work at Benvenuti Arts and Stewart Talent Agency. In addition, she participated in the SLU Connect program in Boston.  She is interested in pursuing a career in grant writing for the entertainment, art and fashion industries. Liya is also interested in marketing, public relations, graphic design and web design.
