University Chorus At St. Lawrence Seeks New Members

CANTON - The University Chorus of St. Lawrence, Canton's community chorus, is accepting new members for the Spring 2008 semester.

An all-Haydn program is planned for early April, featuring the "Lord Nelson Mass" and an early Salve Regina. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, April 12, at 8 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel, and Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Church in Canton. The chorus will sing with orchestral accompaniment.

All singers, but especially tenors and basses, are invited to join. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in Room 15 of Griffiths Arts Center. The first rehearsal is January 22, but new members will be accepted through January 29.
