AMY TYO APPOINTED TO ALUMNI & PARENT PROGRAMS POST AT SLU

CANTON -- Amy L. Tyo, of 254 Andrews Street, Massena, has been appointed 
assistant director of alumni and parent programs at St. Lawrence University. 
She began her new duties September 27.
	Tyo is a 1998 St. Lawrence graduate. She previously worked as a 
recruiter for the Bradford Group, a placement firm, and as an administrative 
assistant for PROVANT, Inc., an investment firm, both in Boston. While a 
student at St. Lawrence, Tyo was a teaching assistant in psychology, treasurer 
of Kappa Delta Sigma sorority and a member of the women's track and field team.
	At St. Lawrence, she will be responsible for a variety of fund-raising 
and volunteer programs, working especially with students and initiatives 
involving recent alumni.
