STUDENT PHOTOS OF EVERGLADES EXHIBITED IN SLU GALLERY

CANTON - "Tides Of Green," an exhibition of photographs taken in
the Florida Everglades by St. Lawrence University senior Matthew
P. Bogosian, will be at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery on
campus from April 17 through June 3; an opening reception will
be held on Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the gallery.
Bogosian, of Manlius, New York, undertook research as a
University Fellow in 2001, on the topic "Exploring the
Biodiversity of the Everglades through Science and Photography."
A biology and studio art major, Bogosian traveled to the
southwestern tip of Florida to explore its tropical ecosystem.
As part of the project, he traveled through Big Cypress National
Preserve, Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, the Florida Panther
National Wildlife Refuge and Everglades National Park. The
exhibition's photographs document that exploration.
