GE Energy Executive Saddlemire Elected To SLU Board Of Trustees
CANTON -- Atlanta resident Thomas P. Saddlemire, a 1970 graduate of
St. Lawrence University, has been elected to a six-year term on the
University's Board of Trustees, effective July 1.
Saddlmire is vice president and chief financial officer for GE Energy,
a leading supplier of power-generation and energy-delivery products and
services spanning a wide portfolio from traditional generation using gas
turbine, steam turbine and nuclear technology to rapid expansion in
renewables, including wind, solar and biogas.
He earned his St. Lawrence degree in economics, and was a member of the
Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, where he served as treasurer and president.
Saddlemire and his wife, Connie Harris Saddlemire '70, served as chairs
of their Reunion Development Committee and have been active as volunteers
and fund-raisers for the University. Mrs. Saddlemire, an artist, recently
was an artist-in-residence on campus.
