THE ROOTS PLAY SLU APRIL 9
CANTON – Hip-hop band The Roots, nominated for an NAACP Image Award for
its 2004 album The Tipping Point, will perform at St. Lawrence University
on Saturday, April 9, in Appleton Arena; opening act is 3 Kings. The concert
begins at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Tickets, on sale now, are $12 for students from the four colleges in Canton
and Potsdam, and $20 for non-students at the Brewer Bookstore and Student
Center at St. Lawrence and Northern Music and Video in Potsdam. Tickets, for
$20 each, are also available through Ticketmaster. For more information,
call the Student Center information desk, at 315-229-5757.
