EVENING OF TANGO SET AT ST. LAWRENCE

CANTON -- "Tango '99: A Latin Dance Party" will be held at 
St. Lawrence University on Thursday, November 18, by Conjunto 
San Lorenzo, a faculty-directed performance ensemble.
	Dance instruction begins at 8 p.m., and the dance party 
begins at 9 p.m.; both events will take place in the Common Room 
of Sykes Residence Hall. The event is open to the public, free 
of charge.
	Dancers Matej Oresic and Rina Gendelman will be special 
guests for the instruction and party, in addition to accordianist 
Dominic Versage. Conjunto San Lorenzo is directed by Assistant 
Professor of Music George Torres, and specializes in the performance 
of Latin American popular music. Membership is by audition.
