'TALENTED JUNIORS' IN AREA SCHOOLS TAKE COURSES AT SLU

CANTON -- Juniors at 16 area high schools explored subjects ranging 
from ballet to introductory German through a special program this 
fall at St. Lawrence University.
        The students are participants in the Talented Juniors Program, 
designed to offer enrichment courses on subjects that may not be addressed 
in the high school curriculum.  The classes are taught on Saturday mornings 
by St. Lawrence University faculty.
        Classes taught this fall include Human Behavior; Africa: Myths and 
Realities; Performance Enhancement and Plane & Solid Geometry Through Linear 
Algebra.
