'Talented Juniors' From 15 Schools In Program At St. Lawrence

CANTON - Juniors from 15 area high schools explored topics ranging from graph theory to international relations in a special program at St. Lawrence University this fall.

The students participated in the Talented Juniors Program, designed to offer enrichment courses on subjects that may not be addressed in the high school curriculum. The classes are taught on Saturday mornings by St. Lawrence University faculty. This year, 78 students participated, with 66 completing the program for certification.

Classes taught were Border Texts: Stories on the Boundary of Truth and Fiction; An Introduction to Networks and Graph Theory; Introduction to International Relations; The Crises of Our Times: Resolution or Abnegation; and Field Biology.
