74 'TALENTED JUNIORS' COMPLETE SLU PROGRAM

CANTON - Juniors from 15 area high schools explored topics ranging from graph theory to human behavior in a special program at St. Lawrence University this fall.

The students participated in the Talented Juniors Program, designed to offer enrichment courses on subjects that may not be addressed in the high school curriculum. The classes are taught on Saturday mornings by St. Lawrence University faculty. This year, 74 students completed the program for certification.

Classes taught were Music and American History; An Introduction to Networks and Graph Theory; Human Behavior; Introduction to Studio Practices; The Crises of Our Times: Resolution or Abnegation; and People and Cultures of Southeast Asia.
