AREA'S 'TALENTED JUNIORS' COMPLETE ST. LAWRENCE PROGRAM

CANTON – Juniors at 13 area high schools explored subjects ranging from 
ballet to human behavior, completing a special program this fall at 
St. Lawrence University.
	The students participated in the Talented Juniors Program, designed 
to offer enrichment courses on subjects that may not be addressed in the 
high school curriculum.  The classes are taught on Saturday mornings by 
St. Lawrence University faculty and staff.
	Classes taught this fall included Human Behavior; What is Calculus 
About?; Ballet; Science Fiction; A Friendly Introduction to Graph Theory; 
Workshop Statistics; and Introduction to Philosophy: A Comparison of 
Western and African Ethics.
