Wildlife Specialist Susan Morse Giving Free Presentation At SLU
CANTON - Susan Morse, founder of the wildlife organization Keeping Track, will give a presentation called "Bobcats, Bears, Cougars, Moose...and More!" on Saturday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Eben Holden Conference Center at St. Lawrence University. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
Throughout North America, Morse is highly regarded as an expert in natural history and tracking. She has more than 35 years of experience monitoring wildlife and interpreting wildlife habitat use. Morse's research has focused on cougar, bobcat, black bear and Canada lynx. She has given workshops on wild felids and other carnivores to a wide range of audiences.
In 1994, Morse founded Keeping Track, an organization devoted to providing technical training to professional biologists, citizen scientist volunteers, land trust officials and conservation planners to better detect, record and monitor the status of wildlife and habitat in their communities. She is also an award-winning wildlife photographer.
