ANNUAL STUDENT ART SHOW PLANNED IN SLU GALLERY

CANTON - The Barnes Endowment Annual Student Juried Exhibition 
will be in the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence 
University from April 17 through June 9. A lecture by juror Doug 
Schatz, assistant professor of sculpture at SUNY Potsdam, will be 
held in the gallery on Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m.; a reception 
for the artists will follow, featuring music by the student band 
The Casual Fiasco. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
	Student artwork in all media, including drawing, painting, 
photography, sculpture, ceramics and printmaking, will be presented 
in this exhibition. The Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, 
open to all St. Lawrence University students, is the annual Barnes 
Endowment Exhibition, with additional funding provided by the 
Jeanne Scribner Cashin Endowment for Fine Arts.
